The reason October matters as the deciding month for whether or not it’s over for Gura, is because October is a time of festivities that don’t necessarily involve taking significant time off to visit and/or travel to see family like the months of November and December do, for Thanksgiving and Christmas respectively.
October has Halloween, a holiday of which Gura seems to enjoy and which seems to fit in with her enjoyment of things that are spooky, like horror games. Surely, then, she can do a stream for at least one of the remaining couple of days left in this month, right?

However, once we’re into November and December, she’ll be taking lots of time off to spend with family for the holidays. That means less frequent streams. And with Gura’s already streamless behavior, that means no streams whatsoever, which further means that we actually won’t get any solo streams until next year. But also, consider that at the beginning of this year, she went to Japan around January, probably traveling there some time in late December of last year. It’s likely she’ll be going back to Japan around that same time next year as well.
With Gura’s communication being very sparse as it is, it’s hard to know when the next solo stream will be. Everyone is just left to fill in the blanks.
