This is a disaster for keeping yourself intact in the entertainment industry. You are a product, to the fans and your employers / coworkers. If your character is not balanced and grounded, you will flail in the wind. She had a great easy ride, with a good gravy train, and there would have been massive contracts coming as JP started to really take off. But she fucked it up by being unprofessional, because she is immature, and you can be immature for many reasons - we are all guilty of that in some aspects of our lives.

Its just not broadcasted to thousands as we dig our hole deeper - she became the joke, a classic trope in entertainment.

Her bipolar disease was under control mostly until her cat died, that combined with the weird ass meds Japan give fucked her up mentally. The real her wasn't in control of her actions for just long enough for her bipolar disorder to ruin everything.
Just the random spurs of the illness on certain weeks of the year caused her to make worse and worse decisions, before her sane self would back in control for a bit with no way of salvaging the situation, and then a month later the mental illness would come back in control for a few days and fuck everything up. Rinse and repeat.
