Pretty accurate overall. There's an Asian (especially Chinese) obsession with knowing "three talents": music, art, and sports, in addition to academics. Any middle class or above family will force kids into classes starting at the age of 4-6 to try and "discover" their talent: piano/violin, sketching/painting, or some kind of "classy" sport like tennis/golf/water polo/sailing etc tend to be most common these days. Add on top of that cram school lessons (like Kumon etc) to get ahead of classmates, and you get the typical Asian experience. For instance, I didn't get my own PC until high school, was on flipphone until college, and had at most an hour a day for weeb hobbies with most time instead going to science/math competitions.
Overall you should think of most parents treating their kids like a prize racehorse or competitive dog show contestant. The whole point is to prove how "superior" your kids are compared to all the other Asian parents that are your frenemies/rivals. If your kid is rank 1 in class, you beat their kid who is middle of the pack. If their kid gets into UC Berkeley, your kid better get into Harvard/Stanford. At it's core, parents are well intentioned in wanting kids to succeed and get rich, but there is definitely an underlying motive of prestige/pride and having future financial support from that success.
Failure is not tolerated, and at its most extreme, parents can easily get emotionally/verbally/sometimes physically abusive for not succeeding/living up to their expectations. Not uncommon for kids in sports to get yelled at/beat/neglected for losing a competition match, and there were definitely cases of growth hormone/steroid usage to pump their kids up in early teens to try and get sports scholarships.

I think you underestimate the failure rate of tiger parenting. We all look to the few successes and assume that's how it should be. It's similar to the American trope that most Asians/Indians are top tier high IQ intellectuals, whereas the vast majority are dirt poor farmers with room temperature IQ. The difference is that the ones who immigrated to the West and succeeded are the rich elites from Asia, and thus they can become successful engineers/doctors/tech CEOs, etc.
While most tiger parented kids have at least some early success in school compared to their free-roaming peers, generally most fail out in the high school phase and don't quite achieve the same college/career success that we are familiar with. Keep in mind how abysmally low top university entrance rates are (5% objectively, and realistically much much lower once you remove the "guaranteed" slots for athletes, legacy kids, special national talents, billionaire trustees, etc.), and you see most kids will end up at their local state school or equivalent EVEN under Asian parenting. The next step of elite job search is just as bad: even for Ivy League kids, getting into Facebook/Google, Goldman Sachs/Mckinsey, etc are also horribly low, like 1% low again. What happens to all of the ones who fail out of this system? Memes aside, there's definitely a decent amount of truth in this. Asian parents would certainly feel ashamed of Bae not succeeding in a "respectable" profession like her older sister. This is due to a combination of most people having no clue wtf a rrat idol is, being an entertainer, and pandering to weebs. None of these exactly scream "high class", and the same stereotypes pervade Asian culture (in China, many top actresses/musicians/TV hosts just end up as mistresses to rich/powerful government officials, same goes for JP/KR idols, etc.). Depends how rich we're talking. Normal-rich (i.e. single/teen millions) will generally be more or less the same, maybe with some additional enrichment with travel, learning to fly a plane, horseback riding etc. Always will go to top private schools, but more or less same as upper middle class, except they can have much better preparation/help so they don't need to tryhard quite as much and still succeed in college/career. Obviously data points at this stage are super rare, but successors are trained with even greater pressure to carry on the family, lineage, whereas you might see non-successors similar to the kids of Bill Gates/Warren Buffett where they find their own respectable hobbies (maybe something like arts, charity, travel, academia, etc.) and just pursue that. In a world where you don't have to work, what you do decide to do is what you enjoy.

For education, tryhards will need their successor to get that Harvard degree, or their domestic counterpart. For regular kids, they might buy their way into Harvard/similar Ivy just because they can and why not. Others might have kids who completely fall off the wagon/refuse to even go to college, and may end up at a mediocre (by elite standards) university. If 1st tier is uber elite, 2nd tier buy-in is like USC/NYU, and then you get lower tier pay2play like Syracuse, Arizona State, etc. Once you look past US college rankings at around 100ish, basically anyone willing to pay full tuition can get in.
