Most of them were actual nepo hires who were friends with a big cosplayer who managed them. They were incredibly cliquish and each time someone grew slightly big in the branch people would immediately start cutting off communication with them because they wanted to maintain a small community. In Indonesia itself the livers were gatekept pretty hard with a small but extremely dedicated fanbase who thought it was cool that they were supporting these people. They were given countless promotional events and etc but they themselves didn't want to grow.
Hana literally tried to cull her own fanbase as hard as she could because she said several times that other Niji IDs wouldn't hang out with her if she was popular.

On top of that a lot of them had very little drive. They refused to make schedules for an extremely long time and refused to speak in any language but Indonesian, they also had no interest in posting to other platforms like TikTok.
A lot of them were extremely well paid despite being 2views, Reza mentions he bought a new PC, 2 new monitors and full studio equipment while in nijisanji. Then when they were told they were being absorbed, a lot of them quit.

Unlike kr who are now on par with some of the jp members and en members, ID literally never even tried. Many of them continued to speak nothing but Indonesian and many of them just threw fits about how bad it was that they got absorbed.
