Twitch is a much safer website from the Doxxing/hate/Chat Spaming point of view, .despite the memes. twitch chat is infinitely better

Twitch is a much more popular streaming platform than youtube, while in youtube the holos would be competing against normal vídeos making it hard for them to be found by new people someone with pekora numbers would be on the front page of the streaming website(people streaming on both platforms usually perform much better on twitch viewership wise)

and now most importantly twitch makes it much easier to support your favourite content creators, there are several always to do it (bits,donations,prime subs, normal subs, gifts and gifted subs) and they are all more convenient than superchats, all of these on top of the fact twitch takes much less from streamers than youtube does(people with similar viewership profit much greater from twitch streaming than they would from streaming on youtube)

TLDR: Youtube is trash, Twitch isnt Perfect but is infinitely better as a streaming platform, most holos would have better viewership, while at the sametime profiting much more from streaming on twitch, it would be a massive game changer namely to the Least popular Japs (who would most likely still be viewed enough to feature on the front page and for the HoloID girls who would explode in popularity/profit on a website that Indos actually use/ can donate at

The biggest complaint is that most vtubers on Twitch do not have their past streams archived at all. And not all of them go through the hassle of uploading everything to youtube. It's just idiotic.

Twitch is probably better to stream on if you're safe content. It's a horribly unoptimized piece of shit held up by the powerhouse of Amazon's servers. It becomes an infinitely better site when you use streamlink + VLC and a third party chat viewer. Visiting the site itself is an awful experience. The reason why is because there's already a lot of third party things that try to fix this (but that isn't an excuse, competent people would buy it or hire the workers)

Sometimes it feels like youtube has completely forgotten they have streaming services and it's probably true because they make massive deals with music companies. Streaming for youtube is more of an afterthought, a remnant of when smaller users has more impact on the site that has been since relegated to the side as a tolerable niche.

The big problem with streaming is there's not really any alternative architecture that isn't dog shit. The best is probably p2p streaming but that also comes with its own obvious risks and issues but at least a large company couldn't shut it down randomly. Also most money goes through Paypal or google anyway on top of a company they work under. I suppose a lot of those doesn't matter for the common person but if you have any interest in seeing unique and possibly risqué media your best bet is maybe chaturbate but that's only for porn.

One major benefit for twitch is they aren't completely retarded with DMCAs, they just mute the part of the audio that was claimed which is far smarter than taking down a whole fucking video like youtube does. I will say out of all the places that deal with DMCA issues Twitch is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition in being smart over it. It's also a far more lax situation regarding the content itself if it's IP controlled. I assume Twitch probably hired lawyers familiar with DMCA because they definitely do things you don't see other companies doing to work around it.

The culture surrounding Twitch is fucking garbage though. It might be one of the largest gatherings of losers in history. It's even worse than reddit because you can't even have a conversation they just spam emojis because they're retards but I guess that's true of every large stream even Pekora has that issue. This is one of the times I'm glad none of them know English because I would never want them interacting with Twitch streamers, they're mostly horrible people.

You've confused Twitch subcribers with superchats. Twitch subscribers are like Youtube memberships and is what Twitch takes 30~50% cut of. I don't actually know how much Youtube take from memberships. Given it's Pekora she'll probably be given a pretty good split. Bits are like superchats and with those Twitch takes their cut from you the donator which is anywhere between 23%~40% depending on how much you buy in one go. $100 worth of bits will cost you $125 or something and when you give it to the streamer they'll receive $100.
