I've been watching NijiEN from the beginning. While I still enjoy many of their streams some of the shitty aspects have grown from minor annoyances to out of control and have infested the branch at all levels. It doesn't help that everyone keeps shooting themselves in the foot about it either. I never got over Zaion's termination, how a company and their fanbase could so openly be allowed and encouraged to mistreat a human being like that. It's disgusting. It has turned into a dehumanizing cancel culture from the executives down to the fanbase. Instead of being a free platform where people can find and succeed in their niche it has become a toxic cutthroat kleptocratic rat race where covering your own ass is more important than sincerity and honorable behavior. She acts like they hated her but in reality Kotoka was crying in a member's stream over how much she misses her and how every milestone makes her think of how she wanted to share it with Zaion.
Hex was the only one that trashed her by using her firing as a soapbox to talk about rape. Finana felt used by her because there's like a 10 year age difference between them and yet she naively tried to get close to her and saw her as a good friend she could trust. Only for Zaion to namedrop her to management and lie that Finana told her it was ok to use her FFXIV account when Finana told her the opposite. And we know this is true because even Finana doesn't use her main FFXIV account the few times she's streamed it. Ver said he felt bad and wished things could've gone differently, but he didn't hold a grudge towards Zaion and just sees it as a series of bad decisions. Meloco and Doppio pretty much didn't say anything about her. No one else in the company has talked about her either. She thought she could use trashing on Niji and releasing the google doc to boost her indie numbers but in the end all those dramafags left her when she went back to streaming Genshin. THAT is what she was crying about on stream the other day. There was no backstabbing involved. According to Kotoka they had an internal meeting and everyone in xsoleil fought to keep Zaion and argued with management on her behalf. It was Zaion who decided to leave and that's when her termination was finalized, because she felt like management had sabotaged her to the point she couldn't recover. Kotoka never said anything negative about her except that she felt Zaion choosing to leave was a betrayal of all the promises they had made to eachother. This shit is the definition of overblown, redirecting hate from Niji management to the livers who have no control over the situation. Even in her google doc she doesn't say anything negative about the livers or xsoleil.
