They really need to work on improving the viewing experience for their streams. The amnesia stream was too dark and hard on the eyes when watched in a well lit room during the day. Other streams they often cover up too much of the game with their overlays/avatars or the game capture is too small or the interlacing filter they put on is too strong. Like most remakes, this one sacrificed a lot of "soul" to shoehorn in the type of shit you see in many games nowadays.

Because they needed to shoehorn more crafting mechanics because that's just what modern games do.

Honestly, the Wii version still feels like the definitive version of RE4. So many of the sets had the soul sucked out of them in the remake, so many little details were forgotten and so many characters were sterilized because... they wanted people to take it more seriously or something? The cheese factor is one of the things that made RE4(and a few other games from around that time) so good.

I feel like Bloodborne is too action focused for them to start with. Demon's and Dark 1 are slower paced, have more puzzle bosses (especially Demon's) and a lot of the encounters are about figuring things out rather than execution. Also several builds that trivialize the game and they can just stumble on.
Bloodborne with Saw Cleaver can be easily trivialized, but do you really expect Mococo to master maximizing Beasthood with transformation attacks? In Demon's Souls they just have to equip magic and press R1, in Dark Souls they just need to equip heavy armor and spam R1.
Would definitely love to see them eventually getting to it, it's a brilliant game.

I unironically think Mococo could beat Demon's Souls if chat was backseating a good build and was able to give clear directions to some of the better items available very early. If you watch her fighting the first boss in Nobeta you can see she's actually pretty good at learning basic attack combos and the timing to dodge them, she just suffers the same debilitation that many non-gamers do in that her brain can't handle the concept of pushing multiple buttons at the same time or complex button layouts. They both have to repeatedly look at a controller/keyboard to remind themselves of which buttons are which and where they are.

With a good build you don't need to know shit about Demon's souls other than R1, dodge and healing. She could handle it but I do not think chat would be able to properly guide her.

With Demon's they don't need super specific guidance. If chat tells her to start as Royalty to have magic and MP regen and to go to 4-1 sooner than later (so she can find the Crescent Falchion), she's already set for the entire game. Anything else is a bonus. Don't even need to learn about weapon upgrades, the Crescent Falchion +1 is more than enough.

100% true, one of my favorite playthroughs of Dark Souls 1 to watch was Kay's, she starts the game without understanding the concept of using dual analog controls and finishes the game while exploring the lore on her own, it was really fun to watch.
It's only with Dark Souls III that they really went all in on the "hard gaem" meme and made the entire game about roll timings, and much less of an adventure. Elden Ring continues the trend when it comes to boss design, but it also gives you stuff like the phantoms you can summon to play the game for you, so the barrier for entry is lowered despite that.

No, but they need a reason to care. As another anon said they very quickly lose interest if they hate the characters. Character is very important to them. Look at the difference between The Closing Shift and Parasocial. In The Closing Shift the main character is mostly a blank slate so they could insert themselves and the game revolved around doing something which effectively boiled down to a dumb mobile game(which they love to play) and many of the characters involved were customers with plain enough personalities that they could make their own fun. The main character of Parasocial is a fucking idiot that they couldn't stand from the very beginning(what kind of moron downloads random executables?), your best friend is a bitch and the game repeatedly puts you in retarded situations that no reasonable person would ever find themselves in. It was only made worse considering the game is about a vtuber which is something they have extensive experience doing.

It Takes Two had a similar problem as Parasocial. They fucking hate the characters and how stupid they act so they could never get into it. Even after several hours of play the parents are just as unlikable and constantly bickering and they probably reached a point where they just couldn't push themselves to play something they weren't having fun with.

They aren't nearly as scared as they act. They've been acting/exaggerating for a number of reasons. For instance, when they played Spooky and The Backrooms, they were nearly catatonic at times, which is strange because they've played infinitely scarier games with no problems at all
Basically, what they're doing is giving themselves a kayfabe character arc. They start off being so fucking scared they can barely do anything but then over time, with the help of the Ruffians, their senpai, and sheer idol determination, they end up horror masters having completed classics such as Amnesia and movies like the Ring.

They were obviously baiting for that Fubuki collab in Backrooms, but their reactions during Spooky's never stopped them from progressing, they just react very negatively to jump scares, of which that aren't many at all in Amnesia. Ringu also is low on jumpscares, and they were fairly quiet during it, but then during superchat reading when people said "it was a lot less scary than I expected", Fuwawa's answer was that she thought it was scarier than she expected. There's no reason to be yelling unless you got caught by surprise, being afraid won't always translate to shrieking unless it's a jumpscare.
Spooky's is all about jumpscare, not at all about lasting horror, so one moment they're yelling with everything they have, the next moment they're laughing and talking about the game.

Also, I'm going to add that if you rewatch all of their horror game streams in order, you'll REALLY begin to see what I've seen. It's not a complaint at all btw, just something I noticed. The original backrooms stream was clearly collab setup, but it 100% perfectly fits into their character/training arc.
Their reactions aren't fake, that's not what I'm saying... Just that they're exaggerating a bit in order to have a true idol arc which will become extremely satisfying to watch from beginning to end. It's both fun and something unique that no one else is really doing.
