At least over $3000US by now in the 4 or so years I've been aware of/actively watch vtubers. The only regret it dropping 1k in a donathon for a vtuber that I've been turned off from for a few months now. A few akasupas for events of vtubers i really like, a few merch purchases, probably another 700$. Several active memberships, the longest being 3 years. The rest goes for my indie oshi and not once have I regretted giving her anything

I've spent about $250 or so on the Omocat hololive stuff. I'm happy with my purchases. I get compliments on the stuff from people who aren't aware of vtubers or even really that familiar with anime. Once when I was wearing their Fauna sweater a stranger told me "Nice final fantasy shirt!"

Probably a little over 200 bucks in the past 2 and a half years for my oshi's membership ($10 for monthly wallpapers tier and I pay in ARS for anyone else). As for merch and concert stream tickets, around 700 bucks and way higher than that if we take shipping costs into consideration. I've never sent a single superchat before and I don't see myself doing that anytime soon. And no regrets since all of my purchases have given me something in return.

This year I've sent about $5k in donos on SE and maybe $120 on merch. I think it's still less than last last.
I don't regret it, it doesn't effect my ability to pay bills and it helps my oshi be able to continue streaming. If anything I regret taking a short vacation a few months ago because after adding up all the ancillary expenses it ended up being almost as much as I've donated.
