I’m not an artist at all so I really can’t help much with the practical things, but I can say I imagine I’m pretty hard to draw so you’ve definitely been putting work in with those attempts. My shirt is big like a space suit which can be confusing, so I always say you can just change it to a tee shirt to make things easier. Same for the hat. The art is all up to you and seeing you take creative liberties, even if they’re just to make things easier on you, would be very cool to see! Also, please don’t worry about it looking silly.
