Nijisanji management are both predatory and cheapskates looking for every reason to retain every dollar of income and only care about you if you hit it big. Twitch considers the VOD and the stream different things, so when the VOD is published, it starts as zero.
Also, the unskippable ads on Youtube is only halfway true, on phone you just refresh and it goes away, on desktop refresh until you get one that lets you skip it in 5, or keep refreshing until it's gone, while on twtich refreshing just resets the ad timer.
