I've had a lot of ideas in my head that I haven't touched yet but I kind of want to vent-write something heartwarming about Coco and Kanata so I can feel better. You check your watch.

It's been about 90 minutes since you sat down quietly just outside Fubuki's room. Even with the door closed and through all soundproofing, you could hear her voice crack and her pained sobs and sniffles. You'd like nothing more than to bust in and console her, but that would be... problematic.

Her mood seemed to improve as the stream went on, idly chatting about which Holomem fits a Marvel character and what-not, but still the air was somber and gloomy. The usual high pitch high energy fox stepping aside in favor of just a normal brokenhearted girl.

A few months ago she'd arrived home in tears and truly broke down once you coddled her in your arms, her tears flowing like a torrent and her lungs gasping for air whenever the sadness took a pause. "I'm her senior but I couldn't do a thing for her!" she'd repeat like a broken record over and over until her body had become so exhausted she fell asleep in your embrace. Since then, you'd catch Fubuki randomly tearing up during chores, or when out on a date. Sometimes she didn't notice until her clothes were stained.

Compared to that, today she's rather composed. It didn't mean your heart dind't ache for her, though.

You tried to keep her from streaming just after the live event, but she wouldn't listen. Even after crying so much before and during the last moments of Coco's solo song, she still steeled herself, put on her best act and sat in front of that camera for thousands to see. But 10 minutes in and she was already weeping. And all you could do was listen.

"Bye bye." - The faint sound of her voice and the familiar melody of her outro reach your ears, and you lift your head for the first time in what seems like forever.

You hear no footsteps but soon the door opens. Fubuki exits the room with her head hanging low and dragging her feet on the ground. She ignores you for a moment then makes a u-turn to stand right in front of you.

Before you can say anything, Fubuki steps over you then sits on your lap with a thump. After a few seconds of pause, her body slumps forward against yours and her face finds comfort between your neck and shoulder.

You sigh, then silently bring a hand to the back of her head to stoke her silky white hair. She sobs quietly for a couple minutes, but finally breathes a sigh of relief, her own hands finally motioning to wrap around your torso.

"Did you get it all out?"

"Mm..." She answers softly, nuzzling against you. Her long fox ears tickle your face in this position, but you don't dare move an inch.

Your free hand meets Fubuki's hip as you pull her closer, burying your own face in her hair to give her a peck on the cheek. "Well, I'm here if need to get it off your chest some more."

"Mm... I know." Her fingers squeeze you. "Thanks... It's just... You know."

"Yeah, I know."

"Coco's something else isn't she?" There's a hint of playfulness in those words. "She did what she set out to do, and then saw it through the end. She left on her own terms. But..." She sobs and her voice cracks. "In the end we couldn't protect her at all. Even though Shirakami is her senior, I couldn't do a single thing at all."

You rub your cheek against hers lovingly. "You keep saying that, but it's not your fault."

"Then why does my heart feel so heavy?"

You chuckle, planting another kiss on her cheek. "Because you care, right? But... you can't always affect the outcomes. I'm not telling you to let that feeling go, but... Fubuki, everyone's path is different, and we're all responsible to pick our own." Scratching behind one of her ears, you continue: "What if you begged her to stay and she did, only to be miserable the entire time?"

"Mm..."

"You'd feel terrible about that, too, right?" The fox nods. "So... Coco had to make a choice. And this is what she chose."

Fubuki lifts her head, looking at you with teary, glowing green eyes. Her cheeks and nose all sport a deep flush.

"But..."

Your index covers her lips.

"I know what you're going to say. You can't change people's hearts, Fubuki. Some people create; others destroy. It's human nature. There was nothing you could have done. I know it hurts to hear, but this is neither hers nor your fault." You pull her into another hug, feeling her fingers tightly tug on your shirt. "Coco realized this. You have to, too. She's moving on; you have to, too."

Fubuki inhales deeply through her congested nose, her hand coming up to wipe away the tears.

"The other girls need you, you know? You're their senior too." You flash her a smile. "They don't want to see a forced smile or an insincere laugh. They want to see you as your usual, cheery self."

"Mm..." You fancy to continue, but she interrupts you. "But... just for today, can we stay like this a little longer?"

You sigh, then smile. You pet her head. "Even if my legs take root, I'm not moving off this spot until you do."

Fubuki giggles sofly, nuzzling your neck again. The minues pass as only the sound of your and her breaths break the silence. Your heartrate picks up as you carefully slide your hand away to rest over your pocket.

You're relieved to feel the imprint of the small box you had stuffed there. Your hand shakes anxiously as you carefully insert it down the opening, and your fingers wrap around a soft-textured box you carry.

"S-say, Fubuki..."

Fubuki doesn't respond - and she begins to cry in earnest once again.

The time wasn't right. It didn't feel right.

You wanted to make her day better. In the back of your mind, this was only natural, if not overdue. But... not like this.

Your hand lets go of the box to wrap around her waistline again.

Today you let her mourn.

Tomorrow you propose.

At some point, Fubuki fell asleep on your lap. It wasn't necessarily late in the evening, but it had been a long day for everyone. Carefully you carried her to bed then lay next to her, observing her for just a little while longer. It was hardly the most ergonomic sleeping position, but last night you were the most comfortable you've ever been.

When morning came, Fubuki was different. In a good way - more like her usual old self. She'd still look off in the distance on occasion and tune out for a moment or two. But quickly, her melancholy would get replaced by a determined, though muted, smile.

You managed to convince her to go on a date. Last minute, no special plans, no special destination. You just wanted to get her out of the house to get her mind off of things. She hesitated a bit but eventually buckled.

Knowing better, you and the girl took a train to the other side of town. Hanging out at the usual spots might trigger nostalgic memories, and you just wanted her to be carefree. Fubuki was always a little sheepish in public, but today she held your hand the entire way there.

After spending a lazy afternoon walking through all manner of stores and shops, you hear Fubuki's stomach growl. Embarrassed and with a blush in her cheeks, she eyes you with a half smile and furrowed eyebrows.

"Eh? But..." Fubuki notices your serious stare, then her eyes shift to the nearly weightless box in hand.

She flips the top open, only to be met with yet another box - a smaller one, a deep navy color and surrounded by velvet. Her eyes blink once, then twice. Then a few more times after that as her brain processes the sight.

Her eyes go wide and she looks your way as you sport the most nervous smile of your life. Fubuki hyperventilates as her fingers tremble under the box. "w-w-w-what? Eh? Ehh? Ehhh?"

You take Fubuki's hands in your own. "It's not super romantic, I know. But you've been down for so long I figured I better hurry up. Our first date was here, so it only felt natural. A-ah, I didn't plan this, though." You clear your throat. "You picked the restaurant."

Fubuki's stoic and surprised expression remains that way even though tears start rolling down her cheeks. Different tears, this time.

Her lips curl into a big smile. The fox stands up on her chair then leaps over the table to tackle you to the ground. She buries her face on your chest and shouts:

There, I finished it up.

I get it's a bit corny, but Fubuki's whole "Wendy's menu adventure" was an insanely impactful thing for me. I remember vividly when, after 6 weeks locked up inside my place I finally said "screw it" and went out to get some Wendy's after watching her comfy night (for me) AC stream. I thought it was a really beautiful thing to say to Mio at that moment. Okayu was being realistic with Mio that she's not some crazy personality who can really stand out like Koro-san or Fubuki are, but that she has a strong presence in her own way that is comforting to be around. Miso isn't exactly the star of your meal, but you would know something is missing if it weren't there, and your meal wouldn't be nearly as good without it. In that same way Mio is a wonderful presence to be around and brightens up any group she's streaming with, even if it seems like she has trouble gaining subscribers on her own.

I'm Brazilian, yes. We get terrible polar winds here from time to time, i feel like I'm back in Poland during winter, minus all the snow. This is fucking hell. No motivation to do anything, even if i wanted to i couldn't do it without being under many layers of clothes. It had not even been a day and a half since she left, and while I had shed as many tears as the rest of my dear friends, I felt something change within.

Our dragon was no longer here, we were helpless, all that remained was a shitty angel, a joke of a devil, a migit princess, and a crybaby sheep. Coco was the backbone of our group, and we were just the support, what were we supposed to do now?
I wanted so badly to vocalize these thoughts, but I knew that it was absolutely the worst possible thing to do, especially now. As much as I wanted to mope and cry and scream and lash out, I only felt that spark smolder and burn.

How would Shion act being in an unfamiliar environment (night club) with Coco and Gura, invited by Coco without much explaining of what would happen? Would she be talking a lot? Would she stay quiet for the most part? Would she be nervous or her usual self? I seem to be struggling to convey Shion personality a bit.

Shion would probably feel extremely out of place and anxious/nervous, and probably also whine a lot about the loud music, and complain a lot in general about things she didn't like - while still trying to be mindful of Coco for having invited her (so she might try to whine to Gura instead or just text Aqua on her phone).
