And even then she's ditched gravity spells because they made it too easy. She's just using the big rock hammer now which can make Melania somewhat trickier than other builds, especially without a summon. It becomes more about RNG and not getting too greedy. I doubt most in this thread could beat Melania with the build Biboo has. She's also not super overleveled and using no buffs so it takes a lot of smacks with the rock hammer

She's using Lion's claw. But she's not overleveled--so even with the lions claw and the great hammer she has to hit twice to stagger. And with two hits and a stagger it's only taking a quarter of melania's health. Whereas it only takes missing the timing or eating water fowl once to end the run. This is before even getting to the second phase. If she leveled up she'd have a much easier time even with all of the challenges she's put in it.

The build matters the most in elden ring so its genuinely hard to take anyone saying elden ring is easy seriously. The gap in difficulty between someone using a regular greatsword with no summons, and RoB or dual colossals with mimic/tiche + tears is very wide.

I would love to see the spaget that would happen if anyone on /vt/ had to beat her with a few thousand people watching and the edict that they interact with chat and be entertaining.

Also, why are souls fans like this? Is beating a hard video game the one and only thing they have every accomplished in life? I love their games and the challenge they bring. but it has to be one of the worst fanbases video games has ever spawned.

i don't think anyone has ever said like 90% of these things. None of these things are really cheating, but some of these things do massively shift the perspectives of players who play differently. When you complain about your Malenia experience on your flail build, and suddenly everyone tells you you're actually bad and should've used "insert OP weapon or build here" it can be pretty annoying, and makes it kinda hard to actually discuss balance in these games when the difficulty can be so different across builds.
