Right now I'm working on some core stuff. I realized that core driver upgrades were very scant, so I started drafting a perk system that players can dip into for a bit more build diversity, such as getting bonuses for going hard-in on your oshi. There was also a balance concern with how certain setups work, such as groups like Holotori having WAY too much power due to having Nature/Origin overlap that gave free +8 to all of the group members the system currently caps at +4, for reference.
I also started working on a subsystem that allows drivers to change the Install's ability kit slightly using alt outfits to fuel those concepts. So, for example, Mori's "Sheriff" outfit might replace her scythe with a gun and swap a couple of her abilities for abilities that, say, give the user a car, or make the 4th bullet always deal an insta-kill or something.
I'm porting the condition system from another game I worked on over, so status effects are functional, but right now kits will self-define the status effects. I'd like to transition that to a defined list that can be pulled from, so I'm writing up a few of those as well.

A good chunk of the system is being designed with the intent that, while I can cover a lot of examples, ultimately the system will have to be open to homebrew so that people can make sure their literal who indie oshi that nobody has ever heard of can also theoretically get half-decent representation. I myself am an indie enjoyer, so I want my fellow Literal Who Likers to be able to participate as well.

All of that said, please regale upon me a (concise) version of some in-character lore for your chuuba of choice. It still helps to hammer out the core if I have something I'm hammering out the core FOR.

She's also a shooting star, and generally has a star-space theme in all things where there can be a theme. The fuckhuge golden axe has been basically canonized as her weapon of choice. She has a star-shaped highlight on her pupil. She can be a bit of a psychopath, as required. Also, she's an idol!

With Nature/Origin sync, it's supposed to help create theme units that don't otherwise exist, but in some cases the way the system works now make particular units and Installs WAY too strong. That's largely the point, but I still intend to rein in certain outliers like Holotori.

The axe is only present on a single outfit, and none of her other outfits or lore suggest that she carries one. Like most of the other "normal ass idol" girls, she'd probably be a supportive kit with a bit of a lean towards offensive buffs. The outfit would trade some of her support effects for directly offensive ones.
