I'm a Baptist and even I know that's not how it worked, faggot. Indulgences were sold for those who didn't go to Hell but also didn't go to Heaven. They were in Purgatory. You were buying a priests prayers to petition God on their behalf to get them into heaven quicker. And, furthermore, it was corrupt priests who were selling them, that was never a mandate from the church. Basically it was a shakedown operation by corrupted men in power.
