current blank slate solution is good, personality will be limiting in the big picture. unless you can choose from multiple personalities by some command while donating but that seems too complicated.

Vedal needs to talk to an economist, because the TTS problem looks like a classic market failure.
The question he needs to answer for himself is "what percentage of Neuro's comments should be in response to messages from chat (versus rants she generates off her own initiative)?"
Ideally he would A/B test that mid-stream, and look at how viewer retention changes as he increases and decreases the cost / percentage, but a first order approximation would be to just take some measurements from VODs of the Hiyori days.
Once he knows what percentage he is aiming for, he can set the price for the TTS at the start of each stream, and adjust it next stream if the price leads to too many or too few TTS messages.

After watching a few other streamers, I'm glad Vedal steered away from the cringe AI TTS everyone else is using. That old hag voice on Anny's stream did my head in, in the few mins I could bare to watch. The Obama voice is also annoying. Not sure why Merricans are so obsessed with their presidents.

That said, the current voice is not good either, but I have got used to it now, so not too bothered about it.

Flesh Vtubers and Flesh Streamers have this problem with tts as well. How long do you spend responding to tts, subs, chat, your own thoughts, etc. I think AI vtubers though have a chance to really find the best balance, because they can moderate themselves based on given parameters to give the best experience for everyone. Finding out those parameters is the hard part though! Maybe some work can be done with analytics,not sure how real time those are though.

That AI someone posted the other day had everything Neuro has, plus changes background and accessories on the fly, song lyrics, actually giggles instead of just saying *giggles* and a bunch of other fun little things. Its nothing to do with neuro being better than the rest, Vedal just had a lot of luck, mixed with some good decisions, at the right time. Hes now way too far in front and any other ai vtuber will be looked at as a clone and ignored, even if they're better.
