Create another user account on your OS and only stream on it.
Rather, only use it for streaming related stuff. That means no using RM social media accounts on it
Also, only download and install stuff you require for streaming and nothing else.
That means no discord. Communication with managers and coworkers? Use a phone for that.

Because Japan's roughly the size of california, and most of them have worked previously of entertainment, so the chances of someone, fan or anti, being able to recognize speech pattern, or activities of a past entertainer isn't that strange, as most vtuber from big agencies have met before applying as vtubers. If you're a literal nobody, you'll be fine.
Tip, use different email adresses for everything, don't use the same names for your accounts, don't use the same birthday, don't share your voice or pictures of you, and don't refer to yourself in between your other accounts. Fairly easy, but might seem like too much for zoomers.

Both Hololive and Nijisanji have huge fan bases, and you'll gain a huge amount of people who hate you just by joining one or the other. There's only so many graduated vtubers and content creators with the qualifications to join Holo/Niji, and you probably won't be able to change your voice enough to prevent people from voice IDing your past life. Most vtubers created hundreds if not thousands of hours of content in their past life, and with a much smaller audience were more likely to let details about themselves to slip. There will be autists who will comb over every video, VOD, and social media post just to compile all the identifying information they can find on you.

If you're a male, you're fucked, you could nuke your entire online presence and some crazy fangirls will find your grandmother's facebook account to grab a picture of you and know exactly which neighborhood you live in. If you're a woman, they'll stop at knowing whether you're fat or what your face is like and if you have a boyfriend or not. Both cases, there's not a whole lot you can do because depending on how long you've been on the internet, there is absolutely no way you'll be able to delete everything. So you would just have to hope you were smart enough back then to hide enough information about yourself.

If you want to break that tie for sure, do not use the name/email/phone/password you used for those social media accounts for anything else ever again.

Why? The most likely threat is: there might have been database breaches or hacks, in which cases your login info (№1 target in any data breach) could be out there in some databases circulated around on hacker forums. That would be any combination of: your user ID, your user name, your e-mail, your phone number and your password. Chaining together account details from leaked databases is a tried and true doxing tactic.

I mean, what do you mean by doxxing? The watered down version of doxxing that refers to people finding out what online persona you had before joining? Impossible, you can't be big enough for the agencies these days and not have a traceable online presence (Suisei would not have been able to jump over in today's competitive environment). Doxxing as in not having IRL stuff revealed? Don't tie any of that to your online persona and be careful who you pick and choose as friends. Generally when real names or locations are leaked its because at some point someone tied their real name to their online persona because they're too small to care and once they join an agency and blow up someone digs it out of the internet's bowls, or because a friend or acquaintance makes a careless post.

The main problem is that Hololive and other big vtuber companies require content making experience. They don't hire literal who's anymore. And some people are super autistic about being able to connect your voice to something they've seen before. Not to mention most people have terrible opsec.
