On average? 0. I only use 'em if I need 'em for a character HLL doesn't know. Other anons use 2-3 - style/concept/character is the combo I've seen a lot. Install the hdg catbox userscript, you can right click catbox links here and just look at the proompt. Link is the first "More Resources" in the OP.

It depends on what I want. For me personally, I use the hll lora, some style lora, and optionally a pose/concept lora if it's not easily promptable. Using too many loras can easily fry your image and sometimes they fight each other.

Also depends. I do as many as it takes to get what I want. If I want to post a batch of images here, I can easily gen 100 images and cherrypick the ones I want to post.

Merging other model mixes together is usually just to get a specific look that you want. You can also merge models to get specific concepts, like merging a nsfw model into a model that doesn't do nsfw stuff well. Also you can merge hll into your model so that you don't need to use a lora and the vtubers are built into your model.

Anywhere from 1 to 5 or 6 depending on what I want. It's just for applying certain styles or concepts. The only thing to be aware of for loras is compatibility. Some play better together than others, and you'll find out pretty fast.

I prompt probably dozens at base resolution to search for a good seed, then highres fix and upscale 1 or 2 good ones.

Thanks, this is great advice. I spent most of yesterday genning some mostly bad shioris trying to get the hang of things. What i'd do is try to prompt things and if a particular one failed i tried to use a lora. Like, i wanted her in a baggy oversized hoodie for example, so i ended up getting a lora for that and so on. I think i would be better served by learning to prompt better perhaps

Loras, usually one, sometimes two depending on my desired resuts. I make 4 gens at a time and just keep pressing generate until I'm satisfied, I think I average 20 ish before I start making changes. You can use model merges to make new models or combine features. Example, I've merged bbw models with monstergirl models to make bbw monster girls.

I'd argue the anons that have a good cache of LoRAs they are familiar with and know the strengths/weaknesses of are just as "good" at proompting as grug bashing his tags around (me). I only use a LoRA if I know I need it, or if I know the LoRA isn't overbaked and isn't going to change my composition up significantly - out of stubbornness...I'm limiting myself compared to the anons you see posting "testing LoRA #67/102"
In my head, if it behaves any stronger than "adding a tag" - and it isn't an artist or style LoRA, I try to avoid using it. But since you're talking outfits, there are some things I never try prompting without a LoRA anymore - naked suspenders for one, breast curtains another, naked towel yet another - the LoRA I found for those just work way too God damn good.

Baggy oversized hoody...isn't one of the things I'd put in that category.

Maybe add a color to the hoodie outside the weighted bracket if you had one in mind. Probably add a negative or two for one of the various coat/jacket tags, especially if the character's default outfit has one. Maybe even add one of the tags for really long sleeves (sleeves past wrists or past fingers) if it's someone like La+.

TL;DR Play with it. There's no wrong way to do it. Except for maybe (going this hard:1.5) and still not seeing results. That's the kind of thing that can be my first first clue that the tag I'm trying to use might be better served with a LoRA.
