I saw a different corpo where one of the members told a story, and this is all information that she shared publicly, about how, despite having skills that would make her an enticing hire, she sent in a bad application because she was busy and didn't have much time before the application deadline. It just goes to show, if you actually have worthwhile skills, you may have less competition than you realize. Just make sure it actually comes through in the application so you don't have to take a huge risk like this one did, which 99% of the time would not only fail to pay off, but would in fact completely doom you.

Many of these people cannot read the basic instructions, don't pick up on the emphasis of what the company is looking for, and can't be original. Arguably enlistment should not be a thing in a moral society. That said, some countries have deviations from the age of majority and age of consent too. The same way that the US has drinking age set to 21, some countries with lower consent have sex work set to 20 or 21.

The idea that after a certain point you should accept all harassment, sexualization, and coercion is still bizarre though when you look at it from a more reasonable point of view.
