It looks INCREDIBLY useful for them, actually!
>Through this collaboration, about 50 talents belonging to the VTuber office "Hololive Production" will distribute more than 700,000 works such as BGM / sound effects / voice / song songs sold at Audiostock on YouTube. It is now possible to use it in creative activities.
Looking at the information posted by the announcement, AudioStock is a service that commercializes and standardizes rights contracts that are used when it comes to music and sounds of various forms. With a partnership program, I imagine this means Cover, and therefore Hololive talents, are able to gain full access to the rights that are available in this website's portfolio.
Looking at the website itself, they have full songs, BGMs, sound effects, etc, so it isn't just a one-shot partnership. I would expect this to mean we'll see a few Holos change BGM in the coming weeks/month or two, as they use the AudioStock BGM library as opposed to the more open-source stuff they tend towards.
