Please consider playing a game that you're passonate about so as to avoid needing a no spoiler no backseat tag

There's no greater vitual cuckolding experience than watching someone carelessly fumble through a game that you love while being stifled from discussing the parts of the game that you love. Please for the love of viewers like me stick to just chatting or play a game you're passionate about.

>> No.5763476

>>5763341
sometimes watching someone play through a game blind and seeing their reactions to things is great to kinda relive your own experience of having gone through those games, and perhaps to someone it's great to see their oshi start to love a game that they themselves are passionate about.
so shut the fuck up backseater

This >>5763476. Honestly seeing a blind playthrough of a game is probably the best content a streamer can make, just to see a streamer's reaction to events that you're already way too familiar with. It's also neat to see how an outsider understands (or misunderstands) the game mechanics that you may be familiar with but they are completely new to.

I love Halo and I enjoyed the streams where Calli and Ame played Reach, and Zentreya and Froot played Combat Evolved. Not only was it neat seeing their reactions, but it was actually kind of educational in how they completely were blind to the established mechanics of the fuckin franchise itself that old-school fans like me take for granted. For example, they were completely unable to wrap their heads around the fact that enemies had shields, and they never quite figured out the strategy of using a shield-depleting weapon to break and enemy's shield, and then swapping to a precision weapon for a clean headshot, and they played it a bit more recklessly. It was definitely frustrating, but I mean you can't blame them for not understanding the game's meta.

I'll be perfectly honest, I'm never in it to watch a streamer play through a game that they've played a million times before and can ace through perfectly. It's boring. Honestly I love when a streamer tries a new game and tries to figure out their way through it. It's great.

Not aiming to go into this and make it huge, or end up in Niji, but I'm looking to have fun, maybe explore new games, and go acheivement hunting in old favourites.

Currently streaming as a pngTuber (not live atm), but looking for feedback on the character design. I'm not massively attached to much of it, but I liked the core concept of 'untidy wizard, pockets full of re-agents'. Artist took 'untidy' and one of the reference images, and went with blood-spatter, which isn't entirely what I was aiming for

That is much more what I'd had in mind, thanks for the reference!

>>5765600
Is there anything in particular standing out to you, that I need to raise to (a different) artist for changes for v2? I've got:
- bloodstains are too much
- his left (our right) eye looks deformed
- left hand tucked behind back has had two viewers ask if he's an amputee
- shoes and skirt (?) are solid dark brown, and blend too much

I liked the png to begin with, but there's all sorts of little things, based on viewer comments, or second/third looks, that I'm kind of thinking I need to remove or edit for an updated version.

The only annoyance is it feels like a massive pain to request a new 'model' so soon after the first one.

There’s an artist I’m looking into for commissioning a model once I get enough money. But he was recently stopped posting altogether because idiots decided to try to run him off for making art that wasn’t even offensive in the first place. Do you think it’d be worth trying to contact him? He’s didn’t completely run off the internet or nuke his account so I take that as a sign he might be back in the future. I’m not scared of being cancelled or whatever the fuck cause the same idiots forgot about it in a span of 3 hours anyways, I’m more worried if he’d even consider taking the offer.

Also depending on your theme, you have a built in network. And that's a buff. The more niche the theme the more likely you are to get closer to others working in your theme, and so it's easier to help each other.
Also consider theme plus other vector. Honey goblin is a goblin but also a tavern keeper. Calico is a magical girl but also white trash, put your own spin on it.

i mean, you can make expressions with eyes; with just the eyes alone you could get smiling expressions with eyesmile, confused/angry expressions by messing with the eyebrow parameters, and just regular closed eyes and none of that would require hotkeys

I'd record one part at a time live, until I've got all four parts recorded, then I can listen along with the stream. But it would mean you'd get to hear the harmony build up from nothing.

With barbershop specifically, I would record the lead, then the bass, followed by baritone, and lastly tenor. Then I'd just adjust the levels. So really, it's a recording stream more than a karaoke stream. For a two to three minute song, it would probably take about twenty minutes, start to finish.

Probably a decent income. She's up there as one of the most popular english vtubers (especially outside of hololive). I wager that she was created by a couple that already had plenty of experience in streaming + 3d model making and tracking, so to them it could easily be a cheap hobby that only required a little work in designing a character for. Personally I don't see any politics/philosophy vtubers making it far. The vtuber audience is very different compared to a regular twitch audience that might be able to stomach that stuff.

I do think simply talking about history would be a very fun vtuber idea, but throwing political theory and philosophy into the mix sounds boring as fuck, especially as a live streamer. Whose gonna watch it?

What? That's somewhat common. Talking streams can become this all the time. Watame is a therapy sheep, basically, and Polka does all kinds of random deep thoughts and reading books from what I've heard.
