I know it's not a serious thread and most replies will consist of buzzwords exclusively, but there's a difference between your idol and your lover. If you have a lover you do all normal relationship things: hang out together, get to know each other, share your happy and sad moments, help each other, have sex, maybe start living together and eventually get married. With your idol you can't do most of these things and you're NOT SUPPOSED TO, that's not the idea. The only thing that should be happening in idol-fan relationship is you supporting her (if it's a chuuba - by being a viewer, chatting, being a member, donating, buying merch) and her supporting you (by working hard in whatever she does, showing appreciation for her fans and eventually shining on stage singing and dancing her heart out, thus giving you positive emotions and inspiring you to improve and get on with your life).
