Do you think they will get another sub purge before their debut?

Why does youtube keep doing it?
Why did advent get spared?

Hololive got caught sub botting again just like how they sub bot council. Good thing youtube management caught council and removed 400k subs (yes they got sub culled twice 200k everytime)

What I never got about this sub purge stuff is why can't those people just resub once they see they got unsubbed?
I've also never got unsubbed from any of the girls pre debut.

If they are real followers, they will resub.
If they are bots, that's the point behind the purge.

It's kinda wild if you think about it enough.
One the one hand, people hold up subs as an important metric (team tribalism, social proof, more subs = my chuuba is objectively better than yours, etc) and cry and whine about muh subculls.
On the other hand, they pretty much admit that most of those subs are from such brainless retard tourists, instead of actually true committed fans, that they wouldn't notice when they're being unsubbed and would resub themselves. Basically the human equivalent of bots. Why jerk yourself off over a chuubas sub number when most of those unsubbed apparently don't care enough about the chuuba to resub?

>> No.57959679

>>57958579
retards lie and say youtube is actually keeping people subbed but not counting their subs as they slowly validate them. its a lie.

>> No.57959895

You'd THINK, after this happeneing MULTIPLE times already, Cover (or hell, any other corpo) would've figured this shit out by now.
Duh, an empty fresh channel gaining a massive influx of subs in a short time seemingly out of nowhere will get flagged as suspicious (because in most other cases, that are not rare exceptions like Hololive talent debuts, there actually is often foul play involved, and the algo doesn't make that fine distinction) and have a high chance of being culled.

The obvious solution is to not release an empty channel with no content, but to prepare some stuff beforehand like teasers, trailers, music, MV's, whatever, that they can put on their channel so the algo doesn't think "mmhm why would so many people sub to an empty channel? must be bots, let's cull them!" and instead just think "wow, those few short videos that channel released must've been really good, ok that's an understandable organic reason for their fast subgrowth, everything's a-ok here!".
Of course better preparation is still no guarantee that you won't get hit by a random subcull, but at least it lowers the risk massively. This should be basic 101 knowledge stuff for any company that basically makes their living off youtube, and they still fuck it up more often than not.

Are you repeating this brainless comment without even reading the thread? They had videos on there channel before they were announced. Even the main Dev_is channel was affected as well and that had more videos and a song on there. Don't try to act smart when clearly you didn't follow their channels at all. It seemed Advent was spared so it seemed like this conspiracy of having a video on a channel so subs don't get purged seemed true until Regloss happened.

This probably means those who subbed them and are now removed by Youtube are mostly hako-oshi fans. They dont watch all holomems but just sub all no matter what because of hako oshi enthusiasm. It meets the requirement of Youtubes cull. And the most notable thing is that casual holo jp fans, who love holomems but arent hako-oshi, didnt sub them at all. So ironically, they couldnt get any new audience the management wanted, not even casual holo jp fans.

I pity them but this branch will no longer get any new buff or momentum. They will just sink.
