After playing Starfield for about 40 hours, I have to say, the most disappointing thing is not even shitty exploration but the lack of interesting questlines. So far only one was really "interesting" and a bunch were "passable". I think Mori's idea of doing small stuff on her own and "big" things on stream is a good one since a lot of the game is just mundane fetch and assassination quests.

I don't think I'd call that a questline, it's more of a one-off quest. it's a pretty nice exploration and the reward is really good but I feel like it misses any buildup like letting you learn who the Mantis is before you get to the base. Also at least so far I've not seen any special interaction with pirates or spacers while I was wearing Mantis armor which is lame since the armor is supposed to be something any pirate recognizes and fears. The best one so far was the UC Vanguard one, you can start it very early and I can't help but feel they very intentionally put the option to start it into the very beginning of first main story quest since they also knew it's their best. Mori just passed the opportunity to do the shitty main story instead. It's probably the most complex non-main story questline I've seen in a Bethesda game and I think it's actually longer than storylines in some DLCs at least.

There's 12 new/alter missions and 9 arena fights in NG+. Note that most of those are available in the first run too, it's those binary choices where Mori picked a different option. Mori already got I think 3 or 6 arena fights and 3 alter missions(Dam, Rescue heli and counterhacking mission for Carla). Most key points remain same in first two routes so she can safely skip most briefings until the last choice between Carla and Ayre.
