I have a stupid one to post. My freshman year of high school I hung out with a group of drama/chorus kids which was weird since I didn't do either of them, and there was this one kind of shy girl I had a huge crush on. We were close enough that she even had me visit her family's lake house at one point. She was into games and we'd talk about stuff like Skyrim a lot, but she had never really played anything released before like 2008, so when she asked if I could recommend anything I lent her my GBA and a bunch of stuff (GBC Pokemon, Mario Land, DKC, the Zelda games, etc.). She'd come to me for help when she was stuck which was super cute, but it was really hard to keep my autism in check, especially when she'd get stuck on a Zelda puzzle or something since I've played through the Oracles games like 15 times. I ended up leaving that friend group at the start of sophomore year since I didn't like any of them other than this one girl. Looking back, I regret not getting my GBA back more than never trying to go beyond being just friends. After that I developed a terrible habit of falling for lesbians which I can't seem to break.
