There are issues that could have been easily avoided, e.g. the whole HoloTalk thing. It is simply required that you flip the o and r and you get the Japanese adjective form of "white".

White is often a symbol of blankness and thus Shiori Novella could be said to mean "Blank Novel"


However, I beg to take this a step further.

Shiori could be said to be a Latin neutral plural for the second declension, doubly so considering the way white is usually said in Latin using the neuter noun "album".

Novella could also be said to be a plural, coming from a third declension imaginary neuter noun, novel.

As such, one may conclude that the name Shiori Novella is a play on the seeing that nothingness is infinite. There is not one blank "I" at the source of life, but more.

It is a very unique answer to the age old "I think therefore I am".


To summarize, one may simplify the previous thesis to state that everyone can be Shiori Novella- no, is Shiori Novella, whether they want to or not.

I missed this question from way earlier, and I feel bad but I'll answer it now.
I don't really have a preference, too tragic such as break up because one of you is terminally ill, is too much for me, whilst things such as cheating is another issue I have writing. Maybe if I had actually experienced either of those in life I could write about it a bit better, but thankfully I've never been cheated on or I never found out.
