Mori was just as confused as I was the first time that you try to fly to the pirate base only to figure out that your ship is just a mini player home with glorified fast travel. You're just in a little open zone of space for the flying tutorial and the planets are just painted on, you can't get closet to them. Starfield is such a stupendous disappointment that it's hard to believe. I waited 8 years for another single player Bethesda game only to get this. I bought the premium edition and started playing as soon as I left work. After 7 hours I'm completely bored with it. You can't even kill most of the procedurally generated civilian npcs.

It's Fallout/skyrim in space from what I'm seeing after playing myself for a bit. Whether it's good or not is up to you to decide. I like the perk system so far and New Atlantis seems a lot more alive than Skyrim ever could be, thanks to no longer giving a fuck about how much space the game is taking. The gunplay might as well not exist, models still look very meh, there's not really "fly to that planet and land on it" in any way and it feels janky especially after AC6 but I'll hold my verdict on it for now. Morrowind isn't the smoothest game either but it's still one of my favorite games ever.

FromSoft mogs Bethesda so hard in every way, shape and form it's not even funny. Mori makes watching Starfield a lot of fun though.

Apparently there's multiverse shenanigans involved where each New Game Plus is a continuation of the previous play through. There's changes to the environment/NPCs/factions from the initial run, but it seems like it's a lot more surface level than it first appears according to some reviewers. Will have to wait for the game to actually come out to learn the true depths or the changes

Oh but you can at least get huge-ass laser cannons that look similar to Zabanya's for huge single-target damage. Not sure if you can fit them on any biped build though, they're nearly the heaviest shoulder weapon in the game.
