Fuza here, this is actually something I've been doing on and off since my debut. It works, but your investment matters even more than other streams like games, at least that's what I've found between juggling chatting and actually learning anything substantial. It's a lot of fun though, my Russian learning stream did particularly well because I had Russian speakers in my chat.

If anything at all, my only advice is to try and make contact with one or two Vtubers who know your target language, that way you have someone to use the language with. It's super awesome if they come by while you're live, too. If you want to do a language stream but you're not sure about going it alone, by all means reach out! I'd love to do a learning stream series, and it's just a tad more fun with someone learning alongside. I'd imagine it's more fun for chat, too

I will have made it if I reach 25 CCV in a 30 day period. This is for me an unobtainable goal, but it's a good one to strive for anyways. Relying on clips is sort of a non-option for me, even watching through my VODs I can't find anything that I would put in a clip, but I don't watch that kind of content anyways and to a degree find it pretty unappealing. Is it better to stream on Youtube or Twitch? My group has been doing Twitch for like 3 months and we've got less than 100 subs/follows still. We do gain whenever we go live at least, but unless we do big shows, we only get less than 10 views. I feel like Youtube has better snowball mechanics. Also, does anyone know if there is a way to have multiple people join a single stream in Twitch? We have to keep going down for like 10s to pass-over which I think is tanking our consistent viewers.

I need help.
My character is basically an amalgamation of different body parts from different people, including the brain, so therefore, despite the character being an adult and not technically having a childhood, or parents, or siblings, they would still retain memories from other people. I basically just want to enable myself to talk about my past experiences without breaking the lore of my character. I have no idea how exactly I would introduce such a concept to the viewers without explicitly detailing what's going on but that breaks with the character's personality and reason for being who's intention is to manipulate and deceive you into believing they're a normal person.

Any ideas?

I'm thinking, because my character is linked to the disappearences of many people, I could have a narration of an amateur investigator reading out their findings and their intuitions on a recording only for the recording to suddenly stop and [insert horror noises], like very stereotypical of found footage films. You could short clips as teaser before the debut as file #1 file #2 etc and have the investigator narrate it. that would be intrigue because the viewer doesn't even know which one of these is going to be the vtuber model until they slowly realize it might be something much more gruesome. keep mind since you wont have an audience to start with, this should work in posterity aswell. it should ultimately serve as a little of info for viewers but not a key part.

Think of Kongou if you are /here/ at all, he plays a character but he's still 80% himself. Don't overdo it, make sure your personality fits the day-to-day content and doesn't get overbearing. also you don't want to alienate potential new viewers coming to the stream with no context. that last part is the biggest one. your stream must be watchable no matter when someone is coming in. lore should always be supplemental not mandatory.

I think I must have explained poorly. The body parts don't have memory, they're just body parts, just a way of giving the entity a physical form. It's just the brain will contain memories (obviously) from multiple different people. It's just a lore-friendly way of me being able to speak about my own experiences which from the character's perspective, never happened. I'd lean into it a little bit by mentioning some historical oddities in the stories to give the sense that the character is much, much older than they appear and want you to believe.
