Mike doesn't care about you. She's a streamer - streaming is her job, and she's trying to get back to some level of relevancy after the catastrophic shit that happened to her. For Indies, one of the conventionally accepted methods to do this is to collab more and increase your reach, so she's going to do that.
She's probably too menhara to realize that it's alienating her current fans, but she also can't rely on the same small group of paypigs forever. If she stays small and irrelevant with no outreach except the people she managed to pull from her old days, she'll spend the rest of her career at their mercy and every one of them that do eventually leave will be a devastating blow to her finances. As an indie streamer without the support of a salary of the box, growth and reach is necessary for her, so she's going to pursue that even if it means jettisoning her current fans.
And this is the same for every streamer, vtuber or not. Their career is ALWAYS going to take precedence over you. Don't ever be surprised if a vtuber ever chooses potential future growth (whether it actually works or not) over meeting the current desires of their fans. It will happen many more times in the future.
