If you told past Yagoo that in a few short years Hololive would have several multi-million sub chuubas, livestreams to over 100k+, a merch operation that prints money, purpose-built production studios, chuubas interviewing movie stars, a fan game with DAUs surpassing Overwatch 2, and true global recognition while Nijisanji would wither and become largely irrelevant outside of the Japanese market I think he'd shit his britches.
I don't think in his wildest dreams he could have imagined Hololive being where it is right now.

To be fair only few were going for the idol thingy or at least were more focused on the musical side of cover while also having NND as their main platform for things and that had to be Sora, AZKi and Suisei
And don't forget the vtubers who complained that they were turning them into idols, something that wasn't the main job back when they joined
Plus its way easier to teach NND stars/streamers how to sing and dance instead of guiding idols on how to stream
