to be very honest i should have let this bake for several more weeks to iron out some detail and flesh out the sex scenes proper, but i couldn't help myself. if i didn't complete this today i was going to throw the entire story away in a huff.

your prose is pretty decent and you got some clever choices for words and for a quick in and out session of suisex its serviceable. I feel like the beginning started out really strong and when it got to the quick fucking things kinda pittered out a little. it seems like you are already aware of that though, but there is probably more you can add to them elongate the scene. dialogue was nice for the relationship you set up but it might have been nice to have a little more background towards maybe some actions suisei took against you over the years to show that she is capable of just choosing violence so quickly. not bad, not long enough to fap to, but fun and to the point. one other thing as far as smut feedback goes, having your balls grasped firmly is enough to force the air right out and it isn't super comfortable.

i certainly came out of the gate hard but fell flat at the end. there's a lot i could have done better; very many places i could have explored deeper. i leaned very hard on the concept of the reader having an understanding of suisei and her suicopathy, which wasn't the smart choice.

if/when i go back to rewrite this, or God forbid extend this into an entire series, i'll do my best to properly get into the deep fucking hatred (you) and her share for each other.

so, for anyone who was reading tower of tattle, if you didn't know, it's incomplete. part v was supposed to be the final, but as i'm working on it right now i'm realizing... part v alone was gonna be as long as all the other parts put together. so i'm kinda thinking actually... probably 1. tower of tattle is gonna be more like 8 parts and 2. the pace is gonna be a lot slower on it as i transition to mostly working on a web novel that i can actually make money off of.

the contest deadline was always supposed to be sort of an intentional thing to make sure i didn't spend too much effort on fan stuff that i couldn't leverage for career stuff. because there are sort of reasons in my life i really need to make writing work for me money wise as soon as i can.

DAMN, this was some of the GOOD shit. We've got a hidden gem here. First off, your prose is spectacular. The way you describe scenery and the senses is incredible and absolutely something I'm going to come back to for reference. It might have gone too far into purple prose territory at times, where it felt like you were using fancy words for the sake of using fancy words, not because it actually added anything to the strory. This only happened a few times, your wide vocabulary was almost always a merit rather than a demerit.
The speed at which Anon agreed to go along with Marine might have been a bit quick, but the relationship that develops between them from start to end was a joy to read, I think you captured Marine well. Nothing felt awkward or unnatural when they were interacting. As one guy said when this was released, it feels a lot like a one shot since there was nothing implying what will happen next, but in that sense it feels a lot like the opening episode to an anime. If you can keep up this quality in the following chapters, this is going to be one of my all time favourites.
I don't really know how I feel about this being a contest entry since its the beginning to a series, but I guess I can treat it like a one shot. Great job!

I'm have strangely mixed thoughts for how suisei swears here. On one hand it feels about right for her to swear, but on the other hand it doesn't feel right that she swears like this since it feels too Coco at least for the 'normal' swears, the 'higher' ones feel right.
Anyway I like the narration, even if it doesn't really mix the hate and the attraction too good until the end. As for the smut, it's not even there. It's about as close as you can get to tv style fade to black without actually skipping the action in-between being, instead it's glossed over in a couple of paragraphs without the kind of depth in detail that would make this a smut fic. Still I liked the concept, even if the skipping over of detail in the makeout and sex kind of makes this feel like a burger that has good bread and toppings but little actual burger meat.

It's mostly my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt, but I just felt like there was an absence of regular language. Rather than particular examples, it was more like the purple prose was excessive which made it feel like it was building up. If I had to pinpoint where exactly, I think the first half/third is the worst offender in regards to this. I didn't notice it all that much after they landed on the island. With that said, it's mostly a nitpick. Most of your prose was beautiful.

i apologize but i only have the first two pages done commenting. umm, as far as the whole story i've only read half so far, and i'll post about my general thoughts when i finish it.

it probably seems really extra to post comments when i haven't even finished it but it's mostly about prose stuff and it's almost entirely positive. also it was taking a surprising amount of time to get through it, and i'll probably do a more sizable chunk when i send comments next time.

i did up to the part where that one anon mentioned the prose verging into purple territory and gave my take on that part. from what i felt i didn't think any particular sentence was at all offensively purple, which is honestly the thing i think writers are much more afraid of in overwriting. i mostly felt like the continuous string of similes made it feel like they were fighting each other, as opposed to working with each other. but it was actually really contained to a small portion of that build up to meeting marine.

overall i actually think that dreamy sequence was really nice. i think with some sprucing it goes up from 8/10 to 9/10.
