I was surprised of finding Tenma in the OP; she does a mix of old games and newer games but I definitely think she focuses on newer games more. The funny thing is I wasn’t certain whether you meant all vtubers or just males in this context from your post and the one you responded to. I presume just males but I think that there are snakes on both sides. Of course the good males would likely avoid collabing with girls if it would harm the girls’ brand but that can regulate them to being second class citizens. And there are certainly females willing to leech off more popular males too. It is bad either way.
You are pretty much right about the second part, although it is rather cynical. When someone is very strongly and vocally against it like this, to me it often just feels like they are overcompensating for skeletons in their closet due to their very real and obvious selfish motivations rather than actually doing it because they truly care about what their fans want.

to add on, were you even reading the thread? i literally said them denouncing males simply puts up a standard for them to be held to. I dont believe that they are actually lesbian man haters. i dont have a high view on women. i think the more restricted they are the better and them putting a restriction on themselves is worthy of praise. i do not want to watch a male and a female vtuber collab the same way you shouldnt want to stare at a couple kissing in front of me.
