They kinda (maybe) learned what NOT to do early on from the original tempus guys, so they've kept a low profile and it's been working just fine for them. The mexican is kind of a beggar but the rest seem alright. Shinri seems like a super chill dude in general. That's what holostars SHOULD be. The first tempus was like a weird experiment. If the first tempus dudes were more like the second, no graduations would have happened and there wouldn't ever be any drama.

Bettel is the last hope for Holostars basically. Everyone with talent left.

Hakka is focused on music, he's already published 2 original songs and most recently did a cover of Towa's My Roar and will have an appearance in her next album. He's my favorite and seems to be the only one invested in the entertainment/preformance side of Hololive even if he doesn't understand or respect idol culture.
Bettel is the only funny one, will probably graduate on his one year anniversary because he's Magni's butt buddy and is a bit too Greedy for his own good.
Flayon is the worst corporate vtuber I have ever watched, I can't stand that fag.
Shinri is...Shinri.

I watched Shinri's Outer Wilds playthrough and was pretty impressed with it being one of the least frustrating ones I've ever seen. Took it slow enough to appreciate the story and notice a lot of details, while also being smart enough to put together things fairly quickly. Might watch more of him later if I have the time. Don't know anything about the others.

I watched their debuts, and was excited for hakka. Got turned off because of rumors that vesper doesn't want to interact with vanguard. It's not that im against any of them, it's just that the bts stuff with vesper just ruined the experience of watching starsen in general.
