Management wasn't involved with making chronoir an unit in the first place though, if anything it was the opposite, they didn't get recognized by management as "official" for a while. Nobody is forcing them to do any pandering, or idol stuff, they just get more support from management nowadays but they've always been doing what they want to do.

i don't know if this misconception originated from luxiem or if this existed prior to their debut. but something /vt/ often gets wrong about "fujobait" is that overt sexualization and flirting is not even a requirement for something fujoshi will enjoy.
traditional youtubers/streamers, professional athletes, band members, historical figures, all of these demographics have a subgroup (however large or small) of women who fantasize about them being in homoerotic relations. what fujoshi really need is just men being in a close relationship to each other, they can make up the rest in their heads.
