Probably, in VShojo it did some uproar, but they were already balls deep in problems with the whole three members going away, that left people hopeless. With Hololive they would have probably intensified it, as they put them more highly regarded in the community. Henya in VShojo was truthfully a unexpected change of pace for them, and I'm glad that Henya was still able to join the concert, since apparently it was in the making all the way back when the three other members were in on it. In fact probably Haruka was going to sing with Silver, since Vei doesn't sing and Nyan with Mouse, as she's the only one without a duet for the original song

Honestly the issue is less that theres drama behind her and more that shes a terrible fit for what hololive presents. Her persona as pikamee and even more as Henya is a thin veneer of civility, under which is a jaded doomer hikki who swears like a sailor, hates life and everything in it, who thrives on video games and vtubing as escapism, and whose only real joy is to watch other people suffer like she once suffered. People dont watch her as a fan to an idol, they watch her as a fellow internet denizen. She's cute forsen, but shes forsen first and cute second.
