In a real game of D&D, you can have different playstyles in the same party just fine (assuming no one is just an asshole), because only one person can be talking to the DM at a time, so everyone is forced to be aware of every other party member's mindset and intentions, and the DM can nudge people to be considerate; for a game like this, you need to actively pay attention to how your friends are behaving if you want everyone to stay on the same page and be comfortable.
Because they are better at the game, that burden falls on Bijou and Mori here.
Bijou is still new, so it's a much harder job than it would normally be (incentive to behave erratically for clips so she gains traction, nervous from not being used to so many people watching, not used to bouncing off of any of the others in the collab, etc.).
Mori can be okay at this on a good day, and obviously she has been improving, but it does not come naturally to her, so it will take constant active effort from her to manage the party's feelings, and I just don't think it would be worth it; it would exhaust her pretty quickly, and this is a long RPG.

It's not doomed, there are ways to fix this, I do like all of them, but yeah right now it's a little awkward.

An actual game, even an RPG requires more, it requires strategy in how you plan your characters and approach situations, and tactics in coordinating actions and responding to changing situations. Turn-based radically simplifies the gameplay where most people already know what they're doing and are waiting for all the seconds of interruption to continue the game. I had some hopes for Biboo to save and lead the group because she was the most experienced one, but unfortunately she was mostly just joining in Mori's retarded lolsorandum murderhobo rushing and metagaming, instead of taking care of the group and especially making sure that the newcomers Kiara and Nerissa were comfortable (instead they were mostly left alone to their own devices).

In a different setting (maybe a more talk-focused smaller collab) it would work better, or maybe a game where one person can't rush the other so much and they're both more on the same level (either being both new or both experienced at the game).

I'd be interested in seeing Kiara and Nerissa try to set up her next BG3 as a duo collab instead of solo. Probably won't happen though on such a short notice.
They seem to be on a similar wavelength regarding their preferred playstyle of the game, slower and more exploratory, and it would be much less of a disorganized mismatch when they can take the game at their own paces and are not being constantly rushed along by two metagaming murderhobos. Their cute interactions were some of the highlights saving the collab for me, so a more relaxed duo collab between them where they can actually focus on each other and the game would be really nice to see.

If it were up to me, sure why not. My preference is mostly:
Solo streams of my oshi -> small collabs where people can actually focus and engage with the other person, have organic conversations -> large collabs with some structured activity, like a game show or event, that keeps them on track and everyone's retardation mostly in check -> large collabs with no particular organisation that mostly just turn into chaotic messes and everyone fucking around in different directions is frustrating.
Of course, large collabs will not and should not stop, and not every collab will be a 1 on 1. These are just my preferences.

I love how this collab is exposing so many retards. It's pretty easy to tell who has a room temperature IQ purely based on their takes.

The ship section is designed to be almost impossible to fail. It gives you a basic understanding of some game mechanics with others being dripfed to you through tutorial popups over time. Unfortunately she skipped several of those due to the rushed pace.
