I only saw part of the stream where he talked about putting his foot down and didn't have a problem with that but personally I had a bit of a menhera Moment™ when he talked about the trip and who he met. I didn't expect myself to react that way but it's like something came over me. While not having any personal stakes in Vox and Kindred, it did make me feel bad for Kindred, some of the tweets and quote-retweets I have seen. I get where some of them were coming from, like being angry or upset that people were being rude to Vox in his Streamlabs, or leaving because of the talk he had and not disclosing where he had been. But, a lot of them were throwing "parasocial" around like an insult, just throwing it out there like it was candy. I think that's what a lot of Kindred were feeling, and in the heat of the moment a lot of them may have let their emotions take over and they made a decision right then and there. Hell, I had thoughts of sending a schizo streamlabs myself but just distracted myself to keep myself from letting the bad thoughts turn to actions.

God same, that's why Vox's BFE is so damn good. It's not just a show, that's how he actually is. And from what I learned from people who like GFE, the same thing holds true. They also have to be menhera to some extent. He's not able to do that anymore mainly because he's taking meds now, connecting with friends and family, and working out. What makes that BFE/GFE so good is the neediness and showering with real love that gets reciprocated by the audience and not just a show he's putting on just for money. So now that he's better mentally, he doesn't need to have his mental health deteriorate for it (although he's still REALLY good at the BFE).
