I like it overall, it's bouncy and stupid fun.
If I had to critique something, the only things holding it back from being even better are:
- the length. While "leaves you wanting more" is always preferable to "overstays its welcome", it was rather on the short side, almost feeling like one of those teaser cuts or anime OP mixes where the actual full song comes later. Had the same issue with Myth or Treat, for example, nice song, but felt like a teaser for a later longer song that never came.
- the chorus being a little bit barebones: I can understand Kiara's explanation, and this would probably make for a nice dance break in an actual live performance, but for just a casual listenalong, the chorus being just "do the Holotori dance.... (saxophone dadadadaa dadada x4) is a little bit underwhelming for what's otherwise a pretty good banger song. Even if they didn't want to add more words to it, you could elevate the oomph factor easily by just having the talents do gang vocal "lalala's" mirroring the saxophone melody, for example.

Seriously tho, it was kinda scuffy, bgm levels all over the place, timing issues etc, basically one of those "h-haha EN curse, who could've prevented this, amirite guys?!" moments. Of course, it's not the end of the world, worse tech fuckups happened to other people and in the end it you just have to roll with it and can have fun regardless. Unfortunately Rissa a little bit let the nerves or her autism get to her and couldn't just roll with it but stop-started often in the beginning (we've seen Kiara do the same back in the past, but usually only for one song or so, and then she's fine), basically spent the first half hour live-troubleshooting on stream and you know how frustrating that can be with asking chat a question, their live delay, getting one-guyed, etc. It got better in the latter half and towards the end it was basically smooth sailing, but yeah..
Her manager-chan was also super useless and Kiara came in for, if not tech support, then at least moral support definetly, and it was very cute.

Also ignore shitposters and falseflaggers trying to make hay about how omg this was the worst thing ever, Nerissa sucks, toootally disrespected and ruined the karaoke blablabla and of course endless Kiara seethe. Oh, for sure. While Cover seems to have gotten better at this over time (or at least I haven't heard many girls complaining about their managers recently), this is definetly another one of those ThingsCoverShouldDo.txt

If you want to overanalyze their little interaction, Rissa's manager might sound nice (i.e. texting "all sounds fine to me, you go girl!" etc is at least better than no response or "ugh, don't bother me with your problems") but was definetly not helpful, either due to being oblivious (things weren't really fine at all, but mane-chan didn't realize) or being hapless (mane-chan may have realized things weren't fine, but since she has no tech idea how to fix it herself, decided to just handwave the issue away and pretend everything's fine for moral support).

I hope Nerissa isn't too down on herself, she kinda pulled through and the latter half went relatively smooth, but for future karaoke's she should definetly prepare more beforehand, have some people who know tech/streaming-setup/audio-stuff (could be other talents, could be Cover staff, but definetly not mane-chan) sit in with her and go through a private practice karaoke stream to fix these issues in advance, do her settings proper and then lock them down so that she doesn't have to go through another nerve-wracking live troubleshoot in public again.

Sucks that we didn't get to see her BG3 character creation in its own stream. Kiara fucking around with CC's is always great fun.
But on the other hand, also good on Biboo for helping her with the character setup, that'd maybe lead to a better build than if Kiara were left to her own devices. Hopefully they've also went over at least some of the basic mechanics for a smoother ride and less "so uhhhh wtf do I do now?" cluelessness than necessary (there'll still be plenty of it anyway). CRPGs can be very dense, and we know how Wawa feels about reading her skills lol. But they're probably playing it on easy anyway, which should take most of the pressure off.

Seriously tho, oh well let's just get it out of the way then. FF16 is around 35 hours for the main story and she won't be doing much sidequests, so eh it's gonna be like 6 to 8 streams or so. On the plus side, with its relatively generous modern checkpointing and difficulty options that can be set to journalist-easy, it should be a rather smooth frustrationless ride. And to be fair the game has some pretty hype moments in between the hours of boring fetchquest and loredump tedium.
But yeah, we'll see if it's actually a good introduction to the franchise as the first FF for her, either way hopefully she likes it enough to at least consider going back to the other actual classics in the future.
