People read '3D' and think a 3D model made to look 2D is terrible.
People read '2D' and think an illustration warped to look like awful 3D is just like their anime.
There is so much perspective tribalism even in this thread but nobody actually stops to consider how it really looks. Nobody really pays attention to the motion which is what makes anime look good. No good arguments, just unthinking tribalism and finding flaws where there are few and making excuses where there are many flaws.

As someone into animation and understanding the importance of working with both 2D and 3D tools, and thinking in 3D, even if you animate in 2D: I agree that the model looks mostly fine. My only significant criticism would be that some of the shading is wrong, and should have been flat instead of smooth. Without seeing the model in motion I can't really criticize the animation itself, but it's likely to be bad, but Live2D produces terrible animation too.
