Kiara has her moments, I won't pretend otherwise, but she only was annoyed by issues of the game that were called out for fifteen years at this point and the consensus is that the complaints are very much valid. The save system that was archaic even when the game was released and the shit controls made every retry a hassle killed all her motivation and it's not like she missed out on the greatest catharsis of all time, but rather on the most basic of ones. All that remains from the campaign is the heli/boat blowing up and the story ending right there with some of the characters calling Niko and congratulating him. Plus with how fast she swapped back to her usual cheerful persona in the SC reading, you can't tell me the game really got to her, it was mainly just a badly written ending script on Rockstar's behalf and not her pissyness that soured the experience.

Nah, there was nothing wrong with doing Hard (which is the only viable difficulty for a new player, since easy is an absolute snoozefest, you litteraly can't lose), she just didn't engage with the game, missed a lot of mechanics (Engraving/Forging/Skill inheritance/Reclassing) and that's where a lot of the character strength come from. But she didn't care about the game enough to get into the basic mechanics of it.

Anon, her only other experience with FE games was 3H a game with even WORSE menu-ing and in battle side content. The monastery is far far worse than the Somniel, and the few character interactions really doesn't make up for it. You can really cut down your menu-ing in engage since skill inheritance is something you will do thrice at best on 6/7 characters for your entire playthrough and forging/engraving is extremmely fast.

The weapon triangle is something you can ignore in hard honestly, since it just involved in counter damage (breaked enemies can't counter, you can't counter when you get breaked by an enemy) and she would never position herself to make use of the mechanic.
