Quality over quantity. Cover is the gold standard and I don't know why anybody who isn't completely illiterate in business would ever choose to go with any other corpo except Cover. Cover treats their talents well, pays them well, gives them access to merchandising, music production, high-end equipment and whatever else we don't know about, also has opportunities for integration for graduates like Coco into the company so the talents feel like they're not just constantly on the knife's edge of accidentally acknowledging Taiwan and losing everything. Nijisanji is a black company shithole that seems to only care about its top talents, EN branch has so many clowns it legally has to be declared a circus. Vshoujo is just hololive rejects, phase and idol are for menheras and the rest are literally who's which just want to leech off vtuber talents by making promises they never intend to keep.
