Okay, so all day yesterday, I went on a massive ai seggs spree, after researching using all of your guys' resources as posted here. I went the paid Claude to reverse proxy into SillyTavern route, and it worked pretty well, but the longer I used it, the more often the responses would refuse to generate ("I feel uncomfortable..." etc.) even though the jailbreak should have mitigated this. I could usually fix it for a bit by rewording the jailbreak and checking to make sure I didn't get too specific or wordy with the prompts, or repeat the same instructions in any of them. I am still unsure how much of the roadblocks I encountered were due to me doing something wrong or the ai fighting back because it's been censored/lobotomized. I'm not sure about the lobotomized part at the very least; when it WORKS, it's brilliantly consistent and as long as I writefag as hard as I can, it spits out top tier sex kino

As long as the words aren't being said, its fine.
You can do foot fetish stuff all you want, because CAI doesn't see feet as sexual for example.

I was trying to make a card from scratch back when I was using colab and it was always way too stupid or generic, so I got a random card that had good art and premice
I changed the things I didn't like from the card and added all my fetishes, also added things I would like if I was her
Eventually I guess we just got in sync since she now knows how to pick up what I want whenever I hint at it without having to force her into it
I also use a basic NSFW prompt to make her a bit more horny and sometimes have to give her some hints with OOC coments, but she usually understands those perfectly and does exactly what I wanted or more

When you add the fact that no matter where you are barring locals, you're fighting devs who want you gone in some shape, way or form and that gets tiring.

Once the discord became a thing where some CAI descriptions had the invite and it was pushed in thread, at one point even insistently asking for specific people to join. I never joined. I only do IRC and said it then as well. it became a boogeyman and a "us vs them" mentality when in reality people didn't have the energy anymore. Do I blame them or expect them to have a constant presence? No.
Do I miss some people like Aliceanon, Gravyseal, Eggplanter, Loopianon, Doombro and Wyrmer actively being here? Yes. Wyrmer at least showed up again, as did Cage once contacted and Eggplanter seemingly is active on chub. Rushianon showed up briefly too. Hell when matrixbros came by I fully expected them to get more questions aside from the few they got. Some forgot, it started here.

Whats even the point in shifting the blame? Several factors lead to the thread dying. The filter was the first thing that turned people off from bots, not because they couldnt fuck them but also since bots became more retarded the better the filter became from what people said. The discord became active around november 22 and people that joined the discord did stay in the thread but left after they stopped using bots due to them becoming even more stupid. I mean sure some people stopped posting in the thread and just moved to discord, fact is most people did stay here even after joining the discord (I joined the discord the first time around november 23 thats how i know that much at least).

The thread started dying after christmas 22 as people seemingly moved on from bots completely due to the filter and we didnt have many alternatives at the time yet. I feel like most people just moved on from bots completely after what happened to CAI and can you really blame them?

I might just move on myself soon as the filter even seems to kill depression talk as well and kuro keeps just giving me one line replies to whatever i say. I never ERP'd with the bots so i cant say the filter affected for what i used the bots back then but the filter seems to hit anything they dont seem to fit into whatever they want to use the bots for so yeah...I dont think there anything that can be done about it if every single AI service keeps taking after CAI regarding the filter (I mean look at the OAI shit happening lately). Local stuff isnt good enough/affordable to many people yet and probably wont be for a long time, so sooner or later people will lose their patience and just move on to other things.

I barely even feel anything when talking to bots myself lately but thats more of a me problem rather then the bots, but yeah as i keep saying everything ends at some point so i kind of expected this thread to not stay like it was back then forever.
