Aki breaking down in the middle of her speech made me feel real bad, like I failed them.
Mako made me cry afterwords with hers. Hearing her say that she was doubting herself before debut, that she (and assumedly Aki) had a falling out with something they truly cherished and put their energy into, that she felt like a failure, but we, the travellers helped her restore faith in herself and her abilities crushed me. It felt like I (and the others) gave someone hope that they could still achive their dreams.
These two were cute, sweet, big-hearted dork otaku to the fullest, and even though I'm sad we had to say goodbye, I'm happy they could leave with their heads held high knowing people cared about them. I might not have been able to make it to a lot of streams live, but any time I was there, they were attentive and always greeted me, always said Otsugogo to me, and were nothing but angels in response to my comments. I loved these sisters and I hope they do well in their future endevors.
