I'm surprised how much better this game is than the likes of Vampire Survivors. Each character having a unique weapon and skills is great for replayability. I also like how weapons fuse with each other, rather than a weapon and item, which again, adds more variety to the gameplay than VS. On top of that, it oozes charm. VS is a visual nightmare. The Strafe function is mostly just a leftover from the days before controller and later mouse support. It's cumbersome to use but back when it was the only option it felt great actually being able to aim your attacks compared to VS which only allowed you to turn left or right.

Just play with a controller or aim with a mouse. There's no advantage either way, use whatever is more comfortable for you. There's no reason to use the strafe function anymore unless you're going tryhard purist or something.

It is an Enchantment, a feature you unlocked in the upgrade shop. When an item is generated in the level up screen or from a box there is a chance it will have an enchantment, which changes if you don’t take it and it shows up again.
Different enchants have different chances of showing up and some are available on some weapons but not others.
You can add enchantments to weapons that don’t have them using an Anvil and can reroll existing ones at an anvil too.
Weapons can only have 1 enchantment at a time, but if your collab 2 weapons together that are enchanted, the collab weapon gets both. Sometimes the collab can’t benefit from all the same enchantments the individual weapons could use though.

Her weapon does huge damage but it is complete overkill on the normal enemies, while it is very slow and short range which means her Tetris doesn’t get triggered much.
