IRyS got stupidly busted last patch with tons of healing and crits + she can aim not just left or right.
Ame also got aim change + stamp system improved her a lot (UsaKen stamp turns her into 2nd best DPS character after Bae).
Mori always had stupidly simple but good passives, too bad scythe quickly falls off as damage-dealing weapon even with explosion proc (so you need to compensate it with DPS collab ASAP)
Fauna has so much healing and i-frames that you don't need to pick any other healing / defensive item, but her base weapon is so-so (so you basically build her as pure damage dealer while her passives cover the rest)
Ina was fine by itself, but she never felt OP or bad - she was just in the middle, and I guess compared to launch version of HoloCure she's nowhere near as good (but maybe it changed in current version, I've yet to pay her)

Fishing is nice. Don't really care for the farming and tending to fatigued coinslaves. Bring on the casino that's way cooler.

Seems like they nerfed fishing hard, Shark used to sell for 2k each but now it's 750. Coin farming might be back to Irys+Fruit Sandwich.

Certain characters have "unusual" forms of scaling(as another anon said Fauna is a good example because she builds heavily around healing herself to deal damage) but that's about as much as you're going to get. What you want sort of exists but it's deliberately built into the game to help characters feel distinct but at that point it's not exactly a build off the beaten path, is it?

I was messing around with cursed balls and found out the direction the balls bounce when you kick them depends on which way you're pointing. Also, if you run away from it while it moves away from you, you bring the wall towards it, which brings the ball to you rather than making you chase it. Combined that with size enhancement and milk with a nearly speed-maxxed Kronii and at one point I was juggling 5 balls in Shubangellion's face. Now I just have to make sure my next try involves all speed enhancements and a double size enhancement.

I think you can only cook one type of food and if you don't use it then the next meal you make replaces the previous one. Basically you can't have more than one meal prepared.

Yes. You should get started on the HoloHouse stuff ASAP. Workers were pretty substantially buffed compared to the early access from what I've seen(much cheaper to get started and faster currency generation?) and the stat buffs you can get from food are a massive help early on(I'd recommend speed because default speed is going to throttle your ability to progress on many characters, especially if you want to start taking Halu for coin farming). Fishing is great in general since it's tied to both food buffs and currency.

The problem with fishing is that it's WAY too strong for new players who have 0 upgrade.
With 0 upgrade you most likely can't do the usual halu 5 + greed + solo weapon farming strat, but even players who have 0 shop upgrade can just go to holohouse, do the fishing minigame and get easy money to upgrade their stuffs without actually playing the game.

You can outrun them until about 38 minutes with Broken Dreams, depending on how much speed you stack. Stun and run should be a viable way for any character to reach 40, even before you take new items and weapons into account.

Weird playstyle wise, I do like playing Zeta, she plays like a safer Bae. Bae feels like living on the edge at all stages of the game so I rarely play her, although I wanted to do silly builds with her ult.
Moona plays like a cooler Sana. Korone rushdown playstyle is underrated.
