I don't know who to trust. IIRC, Izuru also said he was personally scouted by YAGOO, while Roberu spoke many times about his audition where he basically talked.
And I could picture someone like Oga being there thanks to the power of CONNECTIONS. And almost all Stars already knew each other in their past lifes like Astel-Shien, Kira-Roberu for example.

IIRC Miyabi mentioned he auditioned and was picked by Yagoo, Izuru was probably the same (Kira too likely)
