Highlight videos of live streams don't really work on the same channel because most of the subscribers either have watched the live stream already or plan to watch the entire VOD. If subscribers skip your video, the algorithm won't pick it up. It's better to turn it into a series of shorts because then subscribers who browse shorts will be more willing to rewatch it, it will attract new subscribers, and the shorts tab will show if you're currently live.

If I were a total normie without exposure to the vtubing culture. I would be more inclined to watch a clip uploaded by the streamer rather than a random clipper.
