I know a lot of people here don't know any Japanese, but in that timestamp in >>55355410, Towa said that at first, they showed her the storyboard and the song and she thought it had an adult feel, but she was okay with it.
However, when she was shown the final version, they added scenes she didn't like such as the cherry scene, but it was too late to back out or change it at that point.

I did wonder if Cover used a few skinwalkers in the Aventure Holic MV. Towa's RM was pissed over something and Miko tweeted that rolling eyes emote with the tag for holosummer2023. The Splash Party concert will bring in the money but management really pushed the coomerbait marketing.

No. But it seems to me like you don't know very much about animation. And that's okay. It seems not a lot of people here do.
The general body movements in the MV might have been mocapped using their 3D models in the studio, but none of it required that much movement outside of the dancing and taking off their clothes, and so those portions were probably the only parts of it that were mocapped. Even then, the animator would have made sure that the clothes came off in a natural looking way as opposed to snapping off like they probably would using Cover's normal 3D tech.
The rest of the MV was mostly the girls laying around in provocative poses or close up shots like Towa's cherry animation and it's not possible to mocap small, fine movements like that cherry animation using mocap alone. They can't exactly stick mocap sensors to the cherry stem, you know.
So yes, even if some of it was mocapped using the 3D models, the majority of it was animated by hand.

Oh. I see where the confusion is.
To animate a 3D model, you can either mocap it, which is where an actor puts on sensors and acts out and records the movements IRL with their body, or you can animate it by hand, which is where an animator uses an animation program to record himself manipulating the model in a 3D space. The latter is much more expensive and time consuming. It's basically like stop motion animation, but with a virtual 3D model. Most professional animation studios like Pixar animate things by hand, but they might reference mocapped animation depending on the situation.

What, you're not "recording" anything and not like stopmotion, you just move the joints along a timeline and the program interpolates for you. You can also just mocap harder to animate parts, like dancing, copypaste it on different models and hand animate the easier movements.
Also it's much cheaper than mocap because one guy in an office can do it, whereas you need a whole recording team and actor and equipment for mocap.
