When normal Youtubers and streamers get into drama, it's usually over something actually serious, like scamming or grooming minors. But what do vtubers get into drama for? Shit like reading the name of a country, interacting with a member of the oppisite sex, or making an awkward remark. Plus the fact all this "drama" revolves around fucking anime girls adds another layer of absurdity.

All Internet drama is petty and trivial.

>Scamming
Use two-factor authentication and don't post nudes online.
>Grooming minors
Don't give your kid unmitigated Internet access.

Vtuber drama is just what happens when a community congregates around a bunch of femcels. They see how much the girls twist things out of proportion and adopt that in their daily discourse. Hence the ironic "yes sis" posting on /vt/.

You are not wrong.

But still, get out of vt, you normfag.
Go back to your normie youtubers where you belong, your logical and saner views are not welcome here.

Hitomi Chris was the only "real" drama Hololive has gotten involved in but it was quickly buried under the rug.

>> No.55254311

I honestly don't know how much of it is genuine anger, and how much is just westerners larping as Japanese idol fans.

I think you're underestimating how serious these things are, as they can be life-ruining. That's not to that there is never any fault on the part of the victim or the victim's parents, but ultimately any poor judgement on their part wouldn't be so much of a problem if these scumbags didn't taje advantage of them.

Could you elaborate? I believe she was Hololive's first graduation or termination, but I don't know much beyond that. I never even hear anyone talk about her.

Yeah sure, having a Russian use your credit card to buy CS skins, or doing erotic roleplay with a British youtuber, is definitely on the same level as rape, arson and armed robbery. Idiot.
The point is no one here cares about the drama on a personal level, we just like staying up to date on happenings.

>realizes all her equipment sucks for streaming (this was the early day so cover couldn't afford to hand out freebies)
>find a guy that will loan stuff on the condition he gets some compensation
>she agrees then cuts off contact with him
>dude threatens to blackmail her

She (an underage high schooler btw) fucked some dude (or agreed to fuck him in the future) so he would buy her a computer or something. But that guy was also really stupid and thought she was his child girlfriend. So after she debuted he put out a twitlonger about how he got tricked by her. Then instead of this dude getting sent to jail Cover just fired her And he's still on twitter posting shit like nothing happened last time I checked.

Yeah guess what. Members of vshojo are guilty of those things but vshojo jannie doesn't like when people talk about it.

There was this girl hired to be apart of Holo's 1st generation
She turned out sexual favors for streaming equipment
Cover caught wind up this and gave her the axe before her 1st ever stream
And then they got Mel to replace her in gen 1
The only footage we have of her is a test stream from NicoNico

It's kinda creepy

All of this is a fucking lie.
She promised to fuck a dude for streaming equipment which was a requirement to pass the audition. In those days almost nobody applied so just having the equipment allowed her to pass.
The guy she promised sex to then started a harassment campaign against her and cover. Cover didn't want to get involved with this whore drama so they just fired her after the debut stream.

Mel was raped by her manager and Cover tried to cover it up, how's that for real drama?

You might have had a point if you didn't bring this up which is 100x bigger than anything else you mentioned and made you sound retarded.

I seriously laugh at these people. All the losers that were triggered by fauna's comments a few months ago are a good example. She's an anime girl like ahahaha wtf

Ok, I checked and both Snuggie and moonie would have been over 18 at time the posts in the pic were made. Ari's Twitter bio doesn't seem to have posted age so, I can't tell what their age is. Their post doesn't have any pics or sexual content, so it's not as relevant anyways.

Oh, I forgot April, but her Twitter bio says she's 23
