Not for me. My #1 rule for what makes me a fan is their voice. This is why I will never watch Kiara, Bae, Rock-Loli, 50/50 failure, Dog Twins, or 95% of JPs. I don't even care what they look like. I watched IRyS even when she looked like a horses ass because she has a nice voice and she's regularly quirked up on a Tuesday afternoon. This leads me into my #2 reason for what makes me a fan: Can they tell a good story? If the answer is yes then I don't care how many "yabs" they have. I'll be watching all of their streams. Even if they're men, looking at you Vesper <3 Finally, #3 and this is just icing on the cake, can they sing? There are currently 3 members in all of Hololive that can actually sing consistently without hurting themselves, and one of them debuted last week.
