Wrong, the DbD collab was the big shitshow, and that was at the end of August. By the time of any collabs after, the people who didn't like cross-gender interactions were already mentally checked out with the male collabers. From there it was more a matter of whether or not the girls would go the path of Mori or Mumei (though Mumei's collab was pretty insignificant in comparison), and any that kept collabing and bringing Holo towards that content would get more and more resentment built up against them because of the idea that it's "anti-holo", or at least not what they were watching holo for.
